A creative recap of the year 2021 illustrating the impact and growth of Susquehanna Growth Equity’s investment portfolio.

SGE views itself as operating in the most dynamic industry in history, intersecting with some of the most exciting and aggressive humans on earth, and living in an epoch era for tech investing.

Their goal with this video was to compete with their competitors, all of whom created year-end videos to highlight their businesses in 2020. The final video was to be used in a wide campaign of emails, social media posts, and video clips that could be shared both internally and externally throughout the organization and community.

Process:

  • Pre-Production:

    • Before scripting and planning, the objective behind the video needed to be defined. This is where we discussed strategy and the creative approach.

    • Next we wrote the script, which was heavily influenced by the creative approach.

    • From there, I created a storyboard to visualize how the video will be shot, and what will need to be animated or sourced for footage.

    • After scouting and confirming locations to film, I created a detailed production schedule by coordinated with employees at the firm.

  • Production:

    • The shoot lasted for two days across to two different locations.

    • At each location I set up the lights, camera, and audio.

    • Once all of the equipment was set-up, I directed the talent while monitoring the camera and audio.

  • Post-Production:

    • After the shoot was completed, I offloaded the footage and compiled the best takes after importing to Adobe Premiere Pro.

    • Next, I added graphics, animated text, and special effects to help bring the script further to life by visualizing ideas and emphasizing important points.

    • Finally, I perfected the color and added backing music.

Results: The video was completed and delivered to the client ahead of schedule. The clients expressed their appreciation with my timeliness and perfection. The final shared video received over 2500 views.
